Over Labor Day weekend we packed up the kids and hauled to Colorado to pick up one.last.load. Our once busy home is now a shell of her former self, bare and awaiting new people. The walls will always hold the sounds of our laughter and tears, arguments and make ups. It hums with memories of wonderful holiday parties and fantastic bbqs.
Today she became someone else's Home Sweet Home. Bittersweet but perfectly timed. Yet another goodbye but not as hard as all the others. Maybe I'm getting tough in my old age.
